1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all classes, workshops, courses, and events offered by Clay Garden Studio in Berlin.

By booking a service, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Booking & Contract Formation

A contract is formed once a booking has been completed and confirmed via email.
Participation is confirmed only after full payment has been received.

3. Prices & Payment

All prices are stated in Euro (€), all prices are inclusive of VAT.
Payment must be made in full prior to the start of the class or course.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Bookings are binding. Cancellation by participants is not permitted.

However, participants may request to reschedule their booking to another available date, subject to availability and prior notice. Rescheduling requests must be made in writing.

Clay Garden Studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class due to illness, insufficient enrollment, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will receive a full refund or an alternative date.

5. Participation Requirements & Liability Insurance

Participants confirm that they hold valid private liability insurance (Haftpflichtversicherung) covering personal injury and property damage.

Participation in classes and workshops is at the participant’s own risk.

Participants must follow all safety instructions provided during the class.

Clay Garden Studio is only liable for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct, in accordance with German law.

The studio is not responsible for personal belongings brought to the premises.

6. Materials & Firing

Unless otherwise stated, materials (clay, tools, glazes, and firing service) are included in the course price.

Ceramic pieces are subject to natural risks during drying and firing. Cracking, warping, or breakage may occur despite careful handling. Clay Garden Studio cannot guarantee firing results and is not liable for such damages.

7. Collection of Finished Work

Participants will be notified by email when their pieces are ready for collection.

Finished work must be collected within 3o days after notification.

After this period, Clay Garden Studio reserves the right to dispose of the items or sell them as second-quality pieces without compensation.

8. Studio Rules

Participants are expected to treat tools, materials, and the studio space with care.

Clay Garden Studio reserves the right to exclude participants from a class in case of inappropriate behavior, without refund.

9. Data Protection

Personal data is processed solely for booking and administrative purposes and in accordance with applicable data protection laws (GDPR).

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The place of jurisdiction, where legally permissible, is Berlin.
