Firing Service

At Clay Garden Studio, we offer kiln firing services for ceramic artists who would like to fire their externally made pieces in our studio.

We use a Rhode 60L kiln for all firings.

  • Bisque firing temperature: 800°C

  • Glaze firing temperature: 1220°C

All work must be suitable for these temperatures.

How It Works

  1. Please contact us in advance at claygarden.studio@outlook.com

  2. Let us know:

    Type of firing (bisque or glaze)

    Clay body used

    Approximate size and quantity of pieces

  3. We will confirm kiln capacity and arrange a drop-off time.

Advance booking via email is required. Pieces will only be accepted after confirmation.

Pricing

Bisque Firing

  • €8 per kg (external)

  • €6 per kg (internal members)

Glaze Firing

  • €10 per kg (external)

  • €6 per kg (internal members)
