Have your baby bump cast in clay and preserve this special moment of pregnancy in a unique ceramic object.

Bring someone you trust, wear comfortable clothes (the clay washes out easily), and make yourself comfortable on a chair. I will prepare and roll out the clay, then assist you in placing the soft clay slab over your belly. Afterwards, we gently dry the clay with a hairdryer so it keeps its shape when the bowl is removed. During this time, you can stamp your baby's name, the date, or your week of pregnancy into the bowl.

Once the shape is complete, you can decorate the bowl with coloured engobes. I will glaze and fire it for you, and after approximately four to six weeks, your finished one-of-a-kind bowl will be ready for collection (or can be shipped).

The finished piece is high-quality stoneware, food-safe, dishwasher-safe, and oven-safe. It becomes a special keepsake that can also be enjoyed in everyday life.
